Description/Info:

   Disorder of the adrenal glands. Called also: adrenocortical hypofunction; chronic adrenocortical insufficiency; primary adrenal insufficiency; hypocortisolism; hypoadrenalism.

   Addison's disease is a disorder that occurs when the adrenal glands do not produce enough of their hormones.
